Perhaps our favourite kriek in the world, Boon Mariage Parfait Kriek is a rich, decadent but perfectly balanced cherry sour made from 18-month of lambic with 400g per litre of overripe cherries. The result is a deeply fruity, cherry red beer with notes of scrumpy cider, oak, marzipan and, of course, cherry. There’s lots of perceived sweetness but it’s bone dry on the finish leaving just the aromatics of the fruit behind.
